I don’t care what anyone says, no one can truly be colorblind when meeting people for the first time. It’s an unfortunate truth. Also, at the end of the day, I can’t stop being black. And you and I compared, we are to different races/colors. When people say, “why does it always have to be about race? Why can’t we all just be the human race?” you’re denying that my race has any significance to begin with. You’re dismissing a whole group of people to justify your -“everyone’s the same”-argument.
