Mom: “Is tomorrow your birthday?”
Me: “I think so?”
Adieu - Enter Shikari
And I long for you to appear
After losing your way across star riddled skies
To carry you home
Today at the Shops at Liberty place, Faith & I witnessed a…brawl. *chuckles*
I don’t even know if it was a girl-on-girl fight, but I totally wouldn’t be surprised if it was. Either way, there was like a massive group of them so I’m sure it was like a uh girl-on-girl-on-guy-on-girl-on-security man…
As entertaining as it is was for a few seconds…this just made me furious.
1. Who decides to start a fight in a mall?
2. Why?
3. …why?
I just don’t get the purpose…the goal….the point of starting a fight.
On top of all of this, it’s just making teens look even more irresponsible and idiotic.
AND, all those kids were black. I only point this out because a LARGE majority of fights/flash mobs/…ruckus (in Philadelphia) seems to be started by black kids. (not all the time! but a lot) And I hate that. I hate that SO much. I hate that those negative things are what WE (including myself as a black young woman) are known for.
YET, some of us wonder why we don’t get treated with respect or treated like we’re mature (cough cough, public curfews). This is the reason why.
…
This was short, but whatever. Rant over.
:) How are you?
